Erin is a graduate of the Graphic Design program at St. Lawrence College with more than 15 years of experience as a designer, mentor, and educator. She is currently Coordinator of Graphic Design at SLC. Her professional work spans book and publication design, brand identity design, and integrated marketing campaigns for a diverse range of clients, from healthcare and education, to national corporations and small business start-ups. Notable clients include: Toronto Stock Exchange, North York General Hospital, Bloorview Kids’ Rehabilitation Hospital, Harper Collins, Ontario Association of Architects, and St. Lawrence College.
Erin has served on the Board of Directors, Ethics Committee and Eastern Ontario Committee of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD). Her design work has been recognized by RGD and by the Advertising and Design Club of Canada.
Erin strives to integrate experiential learning into the problem-solving process to help students develop critical employability skills, in addition to design foundations. She has been teaching in Graphic Design at SLC since 2011.
Jamie EdwardsMar 17, 2015
Jamie is a musician and educator who specializes in elearning technologies and strategies. After completing a Bachelor of Music degree and the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education at Queen’s University, Jamie spent several years teaching both English and Music at all levels of primary and secondary school in Toronto. He was also deeply involved in the development of several learning technology applications, including Thumbprint: a student-centred learning tool that allows teachers to easily organize and curate existing online content as well as adding assessment tools and student-created materials.
Jamie is an eLearning Specialist at St. Lawrence College and his teaching specialties include communications in the Graphic Design program.
Andrew McLachlanMar 17, 2015
Andrew has been teaching Graphic Design at SLC since 2004. He is an artist, designer, and educator, whose design work has won him a Juno, (1999) as well as gold and silver accolades from the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education. With an emphasis on 2-d design and Design Thinking, Andrew’s inquiry-based approach fosters critical thinking and promotes the design process over final project form.
Andrew serves on RGD’s Education Committee and is currently completing a Masters of Education in Distance Education through Athabasca University.
Vincent PerezMar 17, 2015
Vincent is a graphic designer, printer, educator and dedicated arts community organizer. He designs primarily for arts and cultural groups and is the proprietor and pressman at Everlovin’ Press, a full service letterpress print shop with clients around the world.
He has been the co-founder of various ongoing community projects to benefit artists, designers and craftspeople, including a craft fair, several artist residencies and a quarterly arts publication.
His work has been featured in print and online publications such as Communication Arts, HOW Magazine, Applied Arts and For Print Only and he was the recent recipient of an Ontario Association of Art Galleries design award for his art direction of an exhibition catalogue for the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.
Employing his degrees in Education, English and Graphic Design, he has taught at St. Lawrence College since 2010.

Andrea brings extensive industry and teaching experience to the graphic design program at St. Lawrence College. Andrea has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University, a Bachelor of Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design and a Masters in Design from the University of Alberta. Prior to starting full time at St. Lawrence, Andrea taught part time at the University of Alberta, Grant MacEwan University and Mount Royal University.
She has worked in the field of design since 1998 in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary, the latter where she spent 4 years as an information architect with Karo Group Inc. Clients Andrea has worked with include: Enbridge Inc., ATB Financial, Nexen, Enmax, Travel Alberta, Vancity, Calgary Stampede, Royal Bank, Scotiabank, IBM, Moneris, Oxford Properties and the University of Alberta.
Andrea’s teaching and research focus on interaction design, information design user-centred research, educational media and cross-cultural design.

Jonathan is a graduate of the Graphic Design program at St. Lawrence College and has been teaching at SLC since 2002. Drawing on his extensive background in marketing and retail operations, Jonathan specializes in teaching Photography, Digital Publishing, Design History and Studio Techniques. Jonathan remains commercially active in the fields of graphic design and photography while working for clients including: Parks Canada, Kingston General Hospital, City of Kingston, KEDCO, Fort Henry National Historic Site, Profile Kingston Magazine, and the Kingston Whig-Standard.
Shaun WithersMar 17, 2015
Shaun is an award-winning interactive designer and digital brand strategist with 15 years of experience working with non-profits, small businesses and national corporations. He worked for six years in one of Toronto’s top interactive agencies, and has been an entrepreneur in the Kingston area since 2009. Notable clients include: CBC, Citibank, Sirius Radio Canada, World Wildlife Fund, St. Lawrence College and KGH/Queen’s University.
His teaching specialization is focused on brand strategy, logo design and identity application. Shaun has an honours advanced diploma in Graphic Design (St. Lawrence College), and graduate certificates in New Media Design (Sheridan College) and Interactive Marketing Communications (St. Lawrence College).
